Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026. By using Reme, you agree to these terms, which govern your use of our personal career advocate tools, team features, and marketplace services.
1. Overview of Services
Reme provides a suite of tools designed to help you track, prove, and advance your career. Our services evolve across three main phases:
- Reme Personal App: A tool for individuals to log their "hidden work," track achievements, and generate self-advocacy narratives ("Prep-Kits").
- Reme for Business: A B2B platform that allows teams to share verified performance data. This requires your explicit opt-in to connect your personal data.
- Reme Marketplace: A future talent acquisition platform matching verified skills to opportunities, also requiring your explicit consent.
2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the work logs and achievements you record. While Reme helps you structure your narrative, the integrity of the data ("evidence-based proof") relies on your honest input. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Data Ownership & Licensing
You retain ownership of your content. By entering data into Reme, you grant us a license to host, store, and display it to you. We do not claim ownership over your career history or logs.
If you choose to use Reme for Business, you grant us permission to share specific, selected data points with your employer for the purpose of performance reviews used in accordance with your organization's policies.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Reme to:
- Violate any laws or regulations.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the integrity of our systems.
- Misrepresent your identity or professional achievements.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Reme is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will secure you a promotion, raise, or new job, but we're dedicated to giving you the best possible data to advocate for yourself.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as our services evolve (e.g., launching the Marketplace). We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of Reme constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
